Grade 3/4 Science

Message from the Morning Devotions

One of the weeks this month, Uncle Ian spoke about the importance of being seen of God, not man. There are some people who care only about how others see them, and people who only care what God sees them do. However, there are also some people who do what God wants, no matter who sees them. The main passage we looked at was Matthew 6. The chapter begins with Christ telling the people to do prayers and alms in secret - Not to be seen of men. He even says to “let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth”! Ultimately, it is God who sees us, and that is all that matters. If we want to please men, and make ourselves look good in their sight, the praise and glory we receive will be our reward. However, when we do what God wants, and do not proclaim it in the streets, God will see it and will give us a much greater reward than men could ever give us!

Thank you for your continued understanding with respect to the ever-changing protocols and COVID-19 landscape. Please keep the safety of our school in your prayers. We also ask that you continue to make appointments if there is a need to come into the school and to limit gatherings at the end of the day.

  • Music has finished for the gr. 1-4’s and the final class in music for the grade 5-8’s is April 6th. Students in gr. 5-8 are asked to wear black for their final music class. Students participating in the virtual choir should be ready to sing their song on April 6th as well.
