Soccer Tournament - September 26, 2018
Devotional Message
During our first week of devotions this year, Uncle Josh came up with a new meaning for CHC to help us all remember three important things to keep in mind throughout this coming school year, God Willing. They were Commitment, Honesty and Consideration. In everything we do, in the truth or at school we need to be committed to it. If we are not committed, work will not be done. Honesty is very important for all things as well. We need to keep our conversation honest in order to make the school run smoothly. Finally, we looked at consideration. When we looked at consideration, Uncle Josh took us to Rom 14:19 which says, “Let us therefore follow after the things we make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another”. In our school, at home, in our ecclesias and in every other aspect of our lives we need to be considerate of each other. We never know how our action might affect someone else, whether it be for good or for bad. Our actions often have a domino effect, especially as we get older. We don’t want to be the one who causes offence to one of the little ones, so we need to carefully consider each and every action we perform. If we are considerate of each other, we will be able to lift each other up!
